Precision Kabuki 957
What It Claims :
- Anti Bacteria
- Able to apply cream, powder, liquid, mineral powder or bronzer
- The flat top shape of this brush allows you to pick up product with ease
- Allow makeup to have a airbrush finish
- Ideal for buffing liquid products
What I Think :
- I used it to apply liquid foundations and powder.
- Although it states that it is for applying blushers, I find the smaller surface area of the brush head allows me to reach corners of my face that was previously hard to reach with a flat foundation brush. Thus, I use it to apply foundation.
- Does not work so well for cream foundation. If you are using cream, I will still recommend a foundation sponge.
- The effect I get with this brush is a smooth finish for both liquid and powder foundation and it is much smoother than applying with a normal foundation brush. Also, skin looks luminous, almost like you have not applied any foundation.
- On camera, skin looks smooth and even. If you have seen my Looks Folder, you will probably see the smooth skin in the pictures.
How To Use This Brush :
- Similar to most mineral powder brush, you have to buff the product into the skin.
- Do so in a Circular action until product is evenly spread out. Same for both powder and liquid foundation.
- If you are using a liquid foundation and wish to use powder to set the makeup, you can do so with the same brush. Just allow the liquid foundation a few minutes to settle on the skin and using the same circular motion, buff the pressed powder onto the skin.
- If you are using loose powder, the best is still to use a powder puff and press the powder onto your skin.
Although it says that it is anti bacterial, I still deep cleanse my brushes once every week and sanitize them in between jobs. So I will still recommend you to wash your brushes.
Cheers!
